Tekna Big Data invites you to Rebel on Tuesday 6 May for an evening of insight and discussion on how AI is being used in the public and financial sectors. The event is free and open to everyone, and brings together speakers from NAV, Skatteetaten, SPK, and Bulder Bank.

From detecting fraud to assessing risk and streamlining services, AI is becoming a central part of how institutions operate. But as models begin to support or even make decisions that impact people’s lives, critical questions emerge: Can we trust them? What data are they built on? And how do we ensure transparency and accountability?

The programme includes real-world examples from some of Norway’s key public agencies, as well as reflections on how they are navigating the balance between innovation and responsibility.

There will be plenty of time for mingling, questions, and informal conversations throughout the evening.
