On Wednesday 14 October, Cloud Native Oslo gathers the tech community at Rebel for an evening meetup focusing on sovereign private cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes self-service multi-tenancy.
The evening kicks off with food and networking sponsored by Telenor. Following a short introduction by Ludvig Bjune Hopen, Aksel Skaar Leirvaag and Morten Neteland from Telenor demonstrate how they build a sovereign, scalable private cloud on-premise using CNCF projects such as Metal3, Cluster API, KubeVirt, and Keycloak for federated identity management.
In the second session, Erik Godding Boye from Zenior presents Accurate, an open-source Kubernetes operator designed to tackle multi-tenancy challenges. He explains how teams can enable self-service namespace provisioning and propagate resources across tenant hierarchies using custom resource definitions and simple annotations.
